Simple Swap
Removed and replaced the original Delta-ring and composite quad rail to install the new free float barrel nut and 12” rail. Other reviews mention trouble with fitting the gas tube, my early model has no gas tube so it went on easily ;)

AR-15 FREE FLOAT BARREL NUT
The barrel nut when on well . However, I had to grind down the tabs to get the gas tube to go into the upper. It would be best in my opinion to leave off the tabs, I don't see the point of them.
